I second the "ugh" for Combat of Giants.
If that list is true, I didn't expect Super Monkey Ball or Sims 3 to be launch titles. I will be waiting for the reviews of these 2 games. And what the hell is Rayman 3D? Is Rabbids Time Travel or whatever is called?Rod90
According to Amazon.com, "Rayman 3D is the adaptation of Rayman 2 on Dreamcast"
only one interesting me is SFIV
but i think ill still get it just incause it turns into another wii and i have to wait a year before i can finally get it
Looks like a pretty solid launch line-up to me. I don't know why anybody is complaining.dzimmI think everyone was expecting one of the BIG Nintendo releases at launch, which would've been nice but I'd rather then not rush stuff.
I think it's a pretty solid launch honestly. There's a good variety of games, though nothing too major from Nintendo. We're going to get the hard hitting Nintendo games later this year and if it means a better quality game (by allowing more development time), then I'm all for it. I'm honestly the most excited for Ghost Recon: Shadow wars. I have no clue if it'll be any good, but it should keep me entertained until solid series like Advance Wars, Final Fantasy Tactics, Fire Emblem or Front Mission potentially come out on the 3DS.
Picking up Okamiden, Pokemon Black, and Pilot Wings Resort, hoping for Splinter Cell, likely a few weeks after launch
I really wish PWR has some online though
No, it's Nintendo giving the 3rd party developers a chance to succeed rather than leaving them in the dust again at launch. They did it on purpose, and good on them. Nintendo knows what games we want from them, but they're giving the other developers a head start this time around.I wish they would have thrown in at least one major Nintendo title like Mario Kart or something. It is obviously what a lot of people want and without one of those games it just gives Sony fanboys one more reason to hate on the 3DS.

But they would also have more sales if they included at least one Ninty game like Mario Kart. If you check what some what people are saying, they are holding out because there is no game that they really want. I understand the strategy, but I still think there should be one big time Nintendo game. It just brings attention to the system.

They did do it on purpose, but I don't know why we should be happy about it. Competition is a good thing! Other companies need to work as hard as Nintnedo. Some do... Capcom seems to be working pretty damn hard atm.

Reggie commented on this recently saying that Nintendo can't win no matter what they do. If they release a big first party title then people whine and complain about "They're just rehashing Mario/Metroid/Zelda/Donkey Kong/etc. Where are their niche titles? Where are the third party titles? Where are the original titles? Blah blah blah." When they release first party niche titles (keeping in mind that Nintendogs, while technically niche, was also one of the biggest sellers on the DS), an original title (Steel Diver), and a whole slew of third party titles, people whine and complain about "Where are the big firsty party titles?"
Personally, I'm happy with the launch line-up. I've got four games on the list preordered and paid for and I've got my eye on two or three others.

This is very true. But Nintendogs doesn't appeal to everyone, and Steel Diver doesn't look very good to me at least. When people tell you about games they want Steel Diver isn't popping up often. I think the launch line-up is okay. There are a few games I want. But if they just include a Mario Kart type of game then you have a decent balance. If they have one Mario Kart-like game, SSIV, Nintendogs, and others the only complaint I see there is still that there aren't enough of the blockbuster games. You can't please everyone, but that's what I think they should have done. And don't hint at me that I'm whining. I am just stating on my opinion on what I want. I will still buy the 3DS and a couple games.

It depends on where you're looking, I suppose, because I've seen quite a bit of interest in Steel Diver. It's certainly not on the universal "must have" list like Zelda or Starfox, but there's definitely interest.
At any rate, we won't have to wait long for the heavy hitters, but I'm pleased with the launch line-up all the same.

Well it was a tech demo turned into a game. It just doesn't look like a game that will pull me in or be too interesting. the demo video I saw didn't overly impress me. I don''t know a ton about the game either. But there are some people who want it. I want Nintendogs + Cats: Shiba Inu and New Friends, Super Street Fighter IV, Madden NFL, Rayman 3DS, Super Monkey Ball 3DS, and Pilotwings Resort. I won't get all of those at launch obviously. I will wait for reviews probably on Pilotwings, Madden, Rayman, and Super Monkey Ball.
Looks like I'll be getting Nintendogs + Cats: French Bulldog and Friends.
And The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, Star Fox 64 3D, Kid Icarus: Uprising and Mario Kart when they launch later this year.

If I'm getting anything, it's Super Street Fighter IV 3D and Rayman 3D, maybe Pilotwings and Tom Clancy. If I had to pick one (which is the most likely to happen, I plan on having B/W, maybe Okamiden at the time), then Rayman 3D. I haven't played the original Rayman 2, and it looks like a great game.
None of those really interest me, so I guess I'll be picking up Pokemon White and Okamiden with my 3DS.
There are only going to be 4 million systems released worldwide at launch, people saying their going to wait, were likely going to have to wait anyway, so its inconsequential. It is a wise decision for Nintendo to let the third party establish themselves early on, problem is, par usual, the 3rd party is dropping the ball. Its not a bad lineup at all, but the only one getting out one of their major franchises is Capcom. Ocarina of Time is coming out near E3 last I heard, Kid Icarus after that and if Mario Kart actually does make it out this year, these first 3 or 4 months for the 3rd party will be wasted. But they would also have more sales if they included at least one Ninty game like Mario Kart. If you check what some what people are saying, they are holding out because there is no game that they really want. And can somebody explain why so many people are interested in PilotWings? To be honest I don't see the appeal of the game at all. :?

It's a fun, challenging game. It's a little on the slow side (you're not shooting up bad guys), but the skill involved makes it fun. If you want to know more, there are plenty of reviews out there for the previous PW games, just a google search away. Or be lazy and click here:http://www.gamerankings.com/n64/198292-pilotwings-64/index.html
That has clickable reviews from Gamespot, IGN, and Mygamer for the N64 version.

So I've heard from everyone else. Don't need to hear it again. I would have liked to see Mario Kart. End of story. That is what I want. I don't need to hear again why Ninetendo isn't releasing it. I got it.
