This is a fairly popular topic it seems. TP is by far better then Okami in pretty much every way(art style is debatable, both have incredible art and great animations). Of course, okami is still excellent.
hmm.....thats a tough one. i think they are both tie'd. but if i was forced to choose one i will have to go with Zelda. they are both lengthy games. i mean really lengthy
I loved TP when I played it, but then I played Okami and it blew it outta the water. I tried to go back to play TP recently, but it just felt too clunky (especially the wolf parts). TP is still a great game, but I can't think of any way that TP trumps it. Okami all the way.
I've never played Twilight Princess, though Okami is on the top of my wish list. I can't wait to add Okami to my collection. Though from what I've seen, I guess it seems pretty easy to see that Okami is more original ... ? Darkmagcite

Okami is one of my favorite games on the PS2. It's fantastic. I assume a Wii port is on the same level. Twilight Princess is one of my favorite games on the Wii. It's fantastic. I assume the Gamecube port is on the same level. Just be warned, both games are relatively slow during the early stages. Don't fall asleep.

I've played both, and Okami appeals more to me. Maybe because I have an oriental background, I appreciate the culture that is fused with the story and the art work more than the average gamer. They're both great (similar!) games, but I think Okami isn't appreciated enough because most people who play the game are not familiar with oriental culture and that puts many closed minded gamers off. Okami is also relatively obscure, and since it's the first of it's kind, a lack of history often loses points among veteran gamers. Sad but true. Anyone that says one is WAY better than another needs their head examined though... They're pretty equal in most departments. I guess it's which story you find more interesting.
