ehh, that may be cool, but having the VC is good enough for me. I want to play new games for the most part, there are so many awesome games that get missed. I have most of the best old games already on my VC or DS/Advance, and can't keep up with all the new ones coming out now.
I'd like to see the return of the Punch out franchise. And I guess more than anything, I want to see a 2D revolution happen. I want 2D fighters, side scrollers, and even RPG's to make a home-console comeback. Imagine how awesome 2D games would be today if more companies had kept it going. I bet we could be controlling games that look exactly like cartoons. A 2D Castlevania on Wii would be my ultimate dream come true.
Two Sega games that I'd love to see on either the VC or be made into brand new games are Ristar and Rocket Knight Adventures. I thought those two games were pretty awesome back in the day!

One of the best games ever! I'd love to play an online enabled version of it on the VC.
Also, the N64 isn't exactly old school, but a new Mischief Makers and Blast Corps would be pretty cool, I think. A sequel to Jet Force Gemini would be awesome, but that goes without saying.
