That guy is awesome, I've seen all of his videos on Youtube.
It's kind of sad, the Power Glove was an awesome concept that was executed poorly and was 20 years ahead of it's time. The way the movements were mapped in the games were very unintuitive, thus making simple moves in the games more complicated, and often excercises in futility.
It's funny that it's legacy lives on in the Wii, due to the fact that the Power Glove utilized a set of sensors to track it's position relative to the TV, much like the Wii Remotes use the Sensor Bar to track their movements.
I loved the Power Glove, I owned one... do you guys remember U-Force or the movie the Wizard?gatsbythepig
The Power Glove: "Its so BAD!!" Sorry, someone had to say it. And yeah, it was ahead of its time, just very poorly executed.

The Power Glove was where the innovation was... the Wiimote was where it got done right. That's why I always kinda laugh when people say how innovative the Wii is... because they're either young or ignorant. Innovation is unimportant though... execution is important. What's the point of something being innovative if it doesn't work? And that's what I was saying when my parents burned $80 on a Power Glove for me. I just wish that I still had the thing. What a cool relic.
