Old snes games that look better than NDS games.

I'm sure most of you remember donkey kong 1,2,3 ect..

Mario RPG

Killer instinct

and more.

I've been watching a few videos of Mario rpg and compared them to games like the new dragon quest 5, its strikes me when i compare the two, imo Mario rpg looks alot better than Dragon quest, i know i know, dragon quest is 3D but, why can't more games for the DS look as beutiful as MarioRPG or Donkey kong? is it because of Rare and their awsome technology or something?

Yeah.... Those were really good games, but there are really good games for the DS too.

I think Mario RPG looks pretty ugly personally. That and it feels kind of bland. I much prefer the look of DQ5 myself.

DQ5ds was a a visual "choice" for them. The sprites are pretty crappy but everything else looks alot better. And have you seen games like Dragon Quest Monsters, Final Fantasy 3DS and 4DS, Phantasy Star Zero, Tales of Tempest, Tales of Innocense and Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon. Those are but a few games Nintendo Game Developers weren't lazy with when it came to visuals. To break it down, the DS can have really amazing graphics for a handheld, but Nintendo is more worried about innovative games. Not good looking ones. They stated that just by making touch screen and motion sensing.
