Its a little difficult for me to explain it.But You have to kill some monsters To get stuff....Then you can replace your equipment Etc.Just dont figure out anything until you try it!!!! :)
It's got crappy reviews, but user scores seem to be great to excellent everywhere. I posted why is this in a MH forum and someone said reviewers didn't give it enough time. I might pick up the PS2 MH to see what all the fuss is about. Seems to be still popular and strangely still pretty expensive on ebay for a game that old. Must be good.
I have monster hunter freedom for my PSP, and within weeks traded it in! I love games where you go quest to earn stuff and kill wierd things such as Zelda (wich should be arriving to my door step in few days!). Monstrer hunter on the other hand i found was very difficult, as one quest i remember said " Go find a mushroom " of somesort and only said it is arrount trees. The bad thing to this was it put you in a forest so i spent a couple of hours looking for a small mushroom somewhere near a million trees! I know i wont buy monster hunter for my wii even if it does come out, but hope there will be a better RPG in futer!

I know its the wii but i bet all they will change is the controls (obviously), and not the game play one bit
It's weird. The gamespot reviews for the monster hunter games have all been quite low. But player reviews are all 8's and 9's. I've never played the game myself but it's always looked like fun.
The game is focused around online play right? But there is an offline mode as well?
