i allready have 3 copies of it. 2 snes carts and 1 gba cart. so i really dont need to buy it again. yet every year i find myself replaying it on the snes. that game has withstilled the test of time. cant wait for SMB3 to come out then i will really be happy.

Thats what the VC games are all about, for us slightly older gamers any way. When i downloaded Super Mario Bros. i could remember instantly which room in my old house when i was 8 i first played it. I remember 15 years ago ripping open my NES at my nans house at Christmas, magical times.
still my favorite super mario. i'd buy it on virtual console, but i just bought it on gameboy a few weeks ago. give it a few more weeks and i'll buy it along with contra.
Wow, Super Mario World was the first game I ever played. I was 2 or 3 years old, and my oldest brother put the controller in my hands, and that's where it all began. I can't wait to get it.
oh yeah, makes me remember when the SNES first came out and my and my still best friend Jonathan both begged our parents to rent the system from blockbuster until one of them caved. My mom eventually gave in and me and J played Super Mario World and WWF Royal Rumble nonstop for days. I remember how we would say "this is the best looking game ever, games can't possibly ever look better than this." A true classic that actually gets better with time.
I'm so happy. The greatest game ever is now out on three console! That's how good it is! Simply put, no game has ever been so great in my life. It's why I play games now. Although, SMW2 was really awesome as well... Yoshi is the bomb!
It brings backs memories of me getting really high and not being able to beat Tubular in Star World. Damn you Tubular!!! styphin
Blimey!!Ah that brings back memories...I Remember beating the star road world and at the end of the last stage in that world i fink they wrote someting like "YOu Are A Special Player" in coins...I could swear thats the thing thats given me the biggest sense of achievement in a video game ever...

I swear!!!!! YOu have no idea how many times my bro and i would say the same thing...i remember having the Nes and hearing news of something called the "Super" Nintendo and we were like whats that...The first Snes games we got were Super Mario World, Street fighter 2 and MK 1 or so...We always used to say "i dont think a game could look better than this"...I think everyone had that feeling...Anytime we jumped to a new generation we always thought that was the last leap in graphics...I said the same thing when i saw Super Mario 64 for the first time, man we've come so far..

I remember seeing that too...I smiled when i saw that thing, you really felt you accomplished something...For sometime i used to think the star world was impossible..i was so exited when i beat it..It almost felt as fufilling as beating bowser himself lol..
If I can get my Wii soon, I'm so going to download this game. I'm planning to buy every Super Mario Bros (including World) and beat all of them in 1 day like I did for Zelda.
It's a shame that I sold my SNES. I'll give you tomatoes and just throw them to me because of that I earn this punishment.

MAN don't get me started on Tubular. I got this game at launch year for xmas when I was what 5 years old. For My 20th birthday I finally beat tubular. It was much easier than I thought, I thought the level was so much longer so I always tried to wait as long as possible to get the P and go under the football kicking guys.
