slightly disapointed, but i dont play that much online as ive never found the difference between some stranger across the world and the computer players. If i want to play against someone it would be a friend in the same room as me.gamer6464
Well, human players are just far more ruthless. They don't walk into trip mines like the computers in SSBM.

And the mentality of knowing you're competing with other people online... but theres also scoreboards and records and such right? Thats a biggie for me personally. If Nintendo does charge for online when their online game selection is horrible I will completly give up on them and get a PS3.
I would be a level 9 mad.
NFS102
yeah same with me i never thought i would ever want a ps3 but now that blueray won and we have to pay for wii online use i might get a ps3

well it will only be a matter of time before sony goes this way as well,, theyve already talked about it ,, so ya, i wouldnt give up as theyve already announced nice plans ahead, and ssbb wont use it nor will mariokart ,, its already near release and has a blue wifi thing ,, and there will still be free online games, it wont be completely like 360 where youd pay for every game ,, it was already said games with a red seal are the ones you pay to play online the other ones are free
NFS102
Honestly whatever it would cost I could probably afford it, and for Mario Kart it would easily be worth my money. No question. Free is always ideal but hey, there's nothing wrong with Nintendo or any company making money money off of anything they produce. I could never hold that against them. That would make me a horrible fan and consumer. I would be aboot a level 2. Don't really care.
As an aside however: I don't really think that Mario Kart will fall under "Pay to Play". And if it does I'm sure it'll be something other than paying to race online. We'll see.
Nintendo would never do that. All of their online services are free.
Edit: Uh oh. I just read the article that talked about the Pay to Play program. I don't think Mario Kart or SSBB will be one of those though because in Japan Brawl is normal Wi-Fi and the boxshot of MK didn't have the orange logo they were talking about.
*sigh* I hope they don't try to replace the free service with the Pay to Play program.
I'd say 5, because I would still buy it, I don't play on-line that much.
Also, I think that's impossible, if it were "Pay to Play", they would have said it already.
Eh, 1. If Nintendo charged for Brawl, though... I'd rate my frustration at 39.TDLlama
True, True but sadly i would pay for Brawl:oops:
A 10. It costed me $40 for the Lan adapter. How much more money can I spend? I understand paying to play at an internet hot spot, but absolutely not in the comfort of my home. I'd only be mad if I had to pay for SSBB.
