Eh, right now I'd only say between 3-6... Rare just isn't what it used to be.jt4mtb
i think its because they feel pressured by microsoft to make "omgz teh b100d 0n teh tV g0 squ1sh!" games. i think if they were under nintendo's wing, it would be better. (after all, nintendo actually helped them)
What do you guys mean they haven't made a good game for a while? Viva Pinata came out in 2006 which wasn't too long ago.JAB991
People here don't really like casual games too much. And I didn't really like it much either :(, but it could have been worse.
Kameo is awesome, and Star Fox Adventures was pretty dang good too.

yeah i know! but i think most people didnt like it because they liked that star fox was nintendo's first shooting game (dogfight wise) and the transition to action/adventure just seemed cliched to them (as for myself, my first star fox game was SF Adventures so it might explain why i liked it as much as i did). funny thing is...no matter what system Rare makes games on...they always seemed to be a perfect nintendo title.
Rare was awesome during the N64 era. But all their good programmers and developers from that time now work for other companies. I can count the number of good games they've made for Microsoft on one hand. Nintendo let them go for a reason.
I would say around 1-3. Rare is actually NOTHING like their former selves as far as game development goes. The only advantage to having them would be to get back their franchises.
And don't think we'd get Goldeneye just because we have rare, because 007 is owned by MGM, which is owned by Sony at the moment.

Rare couldn't compete with Nintendo at their peak

But they would get Banjo Kazooie, Tooie, Conker's Bad Fur Day, Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Donkey Kong 64, Jet Force Jemini, Blast Corps, Killer Instinct, and Diddy Kong Racing for the VC. That alone is worth the purchace to me.

No, the only game they've made that can be considered bloody is Perfect Dark Zero. They suck, and it was becoming aparrent on the Gamecube era, Star Fox Adventures was great but it didn't have the 'magic'. Right now they're....meh.
