I am afraid the game will not have 4 player splitscreen or local WiFi LAN.

Now I know IM dreaming about LAN parties but splitscreen is a must have and I am pretty sure will improve sales.

Seriously it would be so nice to have all three level of multiplayer Splitscreen, LAN, Online.

Actually, I think they were discussing putting LAN in the game. They may have said it's a large priority. I think they said that there was no splitscreen though, or at least as of now.

Splitscreen? On a Wii FPS? It would be annoying, a smaller screen to aim around in? I shutter the thought of trying it.

I mean, maybe 2 player splitscreen at most, but 4 players would be a big mess of flailing WiiMotes.

Um it worked in Red Steel even with the terrible controls also with Vanguard.

I'm guessing in Conduit 2 there will be 4 player split screen but like the guy in the post above said there needs to be a practical soluition to having 4 people aiming at the same small object. This is something that will more than likely require some time as well as heavy trial and error.

edit: maybe having a way to adjust your cursor possision, angle, and sensativity each time you sit down would be a good idea (similar to the setup on Wii-setting but more extensive and quicker).

again if RS can do it and it was alright even with bad controls The COnduit can breeze through it fine

Never played RS, looked like shovelware to me. I played Vangaurd though and getting 4 controlers to work COMFORTABLY was hard.

Like I said before multiplayer by itself requires much more adjusting than what is currently offered

edit: to give you an idea of what I meen they need to make it so that if someone is sitting far right or left or pointing at the floor for example their cursor will still apear on the screen dead center.

Seriously if two badly controlled FPS on Wii can manage an ok splitscreen thena good FPS could. If anything they arent doing splitscreen to maintain the framerate which then I understand.

Did I also mention Coop? Seriusly they want a fast edgy FPS but they cant do it without all the features. It just wont be accepted by Wii fans.

This may be a little off-topic, but you're just being unfair with RedSteel. RS had buggy controls, yes, but at least they were reliable most of the time. I still remember how was impossible to me to perform the waggle for weapon reloading in Vanguard, it simply refused to work. Overall, I think RS is an average Wii FPS, at least is much better than FarCry and Vanguard (RS is longer and has better music and graphics).

Now, on topic, 2-player splitscreen is a must for today's standards IMO, 4-player did work in RS (you just need a big sofa, or simply enough distance between players), and LAN would be nice, although I prefer a better Online Service (you don't need LAN if the game lets you play anyone on the world lag free, without Friend Codes)

Hmmm yeah I'm a bit disapointed that there is no split screen, but my I showed my friend The Conduit, and he said he would get it! So yeah I have at least one friend who will play online with me. But when someone else comes over I want at least a way to have multiple accounts online so they could try it out without ruining my profile rankings, that is, assuming it has rankings :P.

Splitscreen would've been nice. If it worked with fps's with regular controllers, then why not with wii controls? Whatever, as long as the online is good...
