I like Goombario. He has the highest attack for me and I use him whenever I have to Tattle. I find the others aren't as good. Bow is good but only does 1 damage to enemies. Pretty useless with enemies that have 1 defense.
Goombario and Kooper are the best teammates in the game.Goombario tattle is very useful in the first playthrough,I also choose the rest of the characters as well,but not as mush as this two.
Watt and Bow were my mains, but Kooper came in handy a lot, especially in Ch. 7 (that was the Crystal Palace one, right?). His fire shell thing was really helpful. I never figured out how to use Parakarry in battle for whatever reason.
