People that leave Wifi when there about to lose

does it ever happen to you? I recently got wireless at my house so I hook up mario kart ds and everytime at the 3rd or 4th race everyone leaves or some people leave if they dont win the first race and it gets annoying...

then I play madden 08 u dont get wins or losses in that or any record online yet when im playing 2 mins into it i throw a 50 yard pass for a td and the guy leaves....

and now with zelda Ph whenever I am winning by a bit on like round 2 they always leave even though it says in the game guide if people leave and dont finish it makes there faces frown and stuff and if you stay to end and even lose but stay to end makes your character smile more? atleast in zelda theres consequences for leaving by making your character look sad and people can tell if u leave or not.. but is there any consequences in other games?like if u leave u get a loss or anything?

I just dont get why u pay 30 dollars for a game then just leave the online mode over a stupid loss=/

yeah its really annoying when people do that kindof stuff. its like, why are you playing online if you cant take a lose. if you are losing over and over again, then play the single player more until you get better. its like these people that leave the games, are trying to find people who suck really bad, and beat them. why would you want a win over someone who sucks at the game, that doesn't show that your good at the game at all.

Face it, every game you play on wifi (or any online game for that matter) will always have sore losers. I just wish there was some way to temporarily ban someone from online or wifi matches if they left a game early because they were losing. Or maybe give them a double loss for that game (as far as I know, most games still don't count it as a loss).goku2000

Simple they disconnect they cannot reconnect for an hour. That should be a punishment. If you have a crappy connection fix it because you drag and make everyone else suffer. I swear some people have two tins and a string for an internet connection.

I left a game on accident, but I was winning against my friends. We were playing MPH. Not one of them could kill me. I had already killed each of them at least four times. They yelled at me the next day at school... dexter111344

maybe your connection is bad and people don't wanna play with heavy lag?

Im not accusing you, just a theory (i dunno how often it hapens to you)

I play MPH and MKDS online anytime I feel like getting cheated and pissed (which is rare). We all paid for our games and we all pay to play online.

I think a 3 strikes rule is in need here:

If you are disconnected from Wifi more than 3 times in one hour you're blocked from playing on Wifi for 24 hours. Simple as that.
