its cheaper, more innovative, can do virtually what the psp can do(media wise),and better selection of games (whoever say they are kiddyish is retarded) those are a few reasons why you should get a dslite :)xtn702
Um, whoever says that Mario and Pokemon doesn't have a kid friendly design is in denial. And so what if it is, I still play em.Â

i was talking about the fact that its not like a 4 year old kids design...What the hell is the point of persuading you to buy a DS?
Do your research on the system. Check the current library. Decide your own interest.

Do you need help to potty too?
#1 - Let's start off with the PSP's down sides, since that's the short list, shall we?
The PSP uses CD's, which take for-freaking-ever to load.
Not to mention, in a day and age where technology has come so far, the game play on the PSP is completely lacking.
Also, the available room for saving your games is limited.
Sure, you can watch movies on it, but guess what? With home-brew applications for the DS --- you can do it there, too.Â
Also, in a day and age where our entire music collection is on our iPod, and DS games fit in the palm of our hand, do we really want to be lugging around a case full of CD's? I didn't think so. I'm much more partial to palm-sized cartridges that I can sling in my pocket without worrying about them being damaged.

#2 - The DS's perks.
The game play is a thousand times better.
Because of those beautiful little cartridges, load times are short and sweet.
There are many options for playing online, on many different games. And guess what? WiFi play is just getting bigger and bigger.
It has an awesome selection of games, from casual to time-consuming, from cute to gorey, with an amazing usage of the DS's game play.
It even has a freakin' web browser. (Note: It's not released in the US, but because there are NO regional restrictions on the DS, you can buy the UK version on eBay. Or, if you have a friend in the UK, just hit him/her up :) )
Home brew applications that allow your DS to do everything the PSP can and more.
And, of course, it's cheaper. Not to mention, take a look at the statistics....the DS is outselling the PSP 2.5 to 1.Â
Oh...and let's not forget...DS-Wii integration is on the way. But wait, PS3 + PSP integration is on the way!! Gee, let's think about it? The most affordable console & hand-held on the market, with the most interactive, innovative game play to date.......or the most expensive console & hand-held with crappy game play and an extremely poor selection of games. Not to mention --- The PS3's graphics are out-done by the XBox 360. And let's not forget that you can buy an XBox 360, a Nintendo Wii, & a Nintendo DS for the price you'd shell out for a PSP + PS3 combo. I'm sure everyone gets my drift.
