I wonder if they've realized that the Tanooki you play as dies if you fail the game?spike6958Natural causes are okay.
i don't think PETA understands the concept of costumes. then again, they hated battlefield 3 because you stab a rat.BrunoBRS
in Battlefield 3 defence, the rat actually attack you first :P ...before you killed it.
meh PETA are bunch of people who wants to suck face with animals anyway..bunch of bestiality freaks.
no because if you abuse them enough, they brutally murder you. or, in TP's case, you posess it for a moment. LIKE THE DEVIL. :|What I find especially ridiculous actually, is that in the Zelda series, Link abuses chickens by picking them up and using them to fly. PETA didn't say anything about that did they?

I was mostly refering to how you pick them and use them to jump longer distances. While the chicken flaps it's wings like crazy trying to escape. To get to certain places, this is actually required to do, so it's incuraged. Attacking them is just an extra option in the game, and as you said, you are punished for it.What I find especially ridiculous actually, is that in the Zelda series, Link abuses chickens by picking them up and using them to fly. I just played the the PETA game. And you know what? it's quite inappropriate. theres basically alot of gore and blood not suited for children and it can even give nightmares to children if they played it compared to mario 3d land which theres no sign of blood at all, everything is all happy stuff.
PETA does have a point though but then again mario 3d land didn't claim that its ok to rip off racoons' fur.

i never understood that. why do you become the chicken? was it the whole "link is part wolf and can talk to animals so he might as well play as a chicken too" idea?
PETA needs to judt die. They just do things to get attention. Anyone who seriously tihnks that Mario games supports people wearing fur probably have some sort of mental issue.
Now that's funny. And to think PETA is more concern with the fur coat then the turtles, gophers, dinosaurs & Yoshi.
