Phew, Strikers is stressful..

Does anyone else find it a really heart racing, stressful experience online? Every match I play at the moment feels like a very tight, nail biting, epic showcase that puts the world cup final to shame! Sometimes the games can be so on fire, so do-or-die and need so much elbow grease that you almost feel like avoiding it :shock:

When a game flows well for you and you have it under wraps its fine though, but most of my games are like 5:4's or 3:2's. There's some fierce competition out there.

Is this a game worth recommending? I haven't booted up the Wii in the while and I need a game to justify the money I payed for the console.rpg9000owner

If you like arcade footy then I'd say so, but there is a learning curve and like I said it can be heart pounding online when played seriously (can seem quite chaotic). If it helps I was never interested in the original and am generally fed up with the sight of Mario, but its an extremely fun game with tons of value especially because of online.

Its likely the last Wii game I'll buy until Battalion Wars 2 because I know it will keep me pretty occupied. 

I totally agree. Most of my games online are so close and once in the 3rd and deciding game it went to extra time and that lasted about 7 minutes literally ! I felt mentally exhausted afterwards :Pedd678

I had one of those once, me and the other guy must have exchanged 20 mega strike balls each but every one was saved. Then he finally nailed me with a random goal form the halfway line, I was like ''NOOoooOOooo''.

No i didnt win :( he done the same and had liek a random shot from near the half way line :( :P

I havent played in a while

I was going to get Strikers today but my money still hasn't transferred to my account. Glad to hear the faced paced action from the GC version has been taken up another notch.

I'm used to that, me and my cousin's games are always like that, we played the original (I live in U.S.) and we actually have games where our scores would be 0-0 then we go into sudden death and after 3 minutes in sudden death one of us does a super strike and finally wins.
