For some reason, Elebits looks fun. I'm usually not into cute simple games. But the trashing a nice place to find the little dudes seems strangely fun.
Out of all of those, I'd recommend Rayman and Elebits, more so for Rayman probably. Haven't played Wii Play, Sonic, or Trauma Cener though, so can't really give you a definate answer out of that list. Although, the game I'm having the most fun with right now is SSX Blur. Great game.
Since Mario Party 8 was delayed, I havn't bought a Wii game in a while, so I've narrowed it down to these.

The only one I've played is SatSR, which was awesome, but I'm not sure of what to pick up, as they all look great. Rockingtime75
I got Wii Play when i picked up my Wii (two days ago) and mainly got it for the Controller. The game itself is ok..... well a bit boring, great party game though. Anyway it's well worth it because the wii controller is 30 and the package is 35! fiver for a game, not bad!
I've played all those except for Trauma Center. My opinion? Right here: Rayman Raving Rabbids: fun, funny and challenging Elebits: Too long of a tutorial, bad gameplay, little kiddish story, good graphics, bad game Wii Play: The game is alright, not better than Wii Sports, tutorial is basically the whole game Sonic and the Secret Rings: Pretty fun, weird controls, alright game Super Monkey Ball: BB: Story Mode is crap, most multiplayer games are fun but a lot are dumb So basically, get Rayman. If you don't want that, get Wii Play, not that? Than Super Monkey Ball.
Haven't played any of those, but I know I'm getting Trauma Center when it's out in Europe. Looks very fun. I've also heard many good things about it. It's also challenging, which sounds interesting.
I have Trauma Center, Rayman and Sonic and out of those I'd say I've played Rayman the most. But that's just mini games so if you want something more Mission based Sonic and Trauma Center are good. I have to say though I'm really digging Trauma Center.
If you're into fps you might want to wait one more week when medal of honor vangaurd comes out. Supposed to be a lot better than Call of Duty which was pretty good in itself although it still doesn't have any online capability that I know of. Also coming soon are: Prince of Persia: Rival Swords, The Godfather, and Heatseeker. The games have some surious potential so maybe you should hold off that purchase for a little while. Oh and with Prince of Persia, if you played two thrones you probably shouldn't get it because it's basically the same thing with new controls. I've never played it and the videos look freaking awesome so I'm seriously looking forward to that.
But if you can't wait, or you can afford to buy a game today and in a few weeks, then Trauma Center would be your best bet. I found it to be the most gratifying of all the games listed, although it's quite challanging.  Â
