I still think Myamoto was under pressure to say something when asked about Pikmin 3. 2 years later and i'm still believing it doesn't exist. It's getting pretty late to make a call for the Wii now. If it ever gets announced, it'll be announced at this E3.
I voted yes, but its more of a hopeful vote than what I think will actually happen. I'm not sure if that game was ever in development past the "hey, we should do that" stage.
I might be wrong, but didn't the first 2 pikmin games not do so hot sales wise? Especially the second one?

Since the new console is gonna be a return to the hardcore style like SNES and N64, Nintendo should use this oppertunity to send out the Wii in style and announce all these hardcore Nintendo frachises and use Cafe to bring new IP's to the table.
Its a hopeful yes, but I picked yes. I don't understand why they are neglecting the franchises like Star Fox and Pikmin. Sure, they have Star Fox 64 3D coming, but that is just a remake/port. And as of now, the Wii hasn't had a single Star Fox game other than the VC release.Even the two on GameCube weren't even that Star Fox-ish.
On topic though, I really, REALLY want Pikmin 3 to be announced. Or a NA version of NPC: Pikmin 2. I haven't played the second, but it looks harder than the first and I'm not sure if I want to lay down 40 dollars for a used copy on Amazon...

I think it will be announced, but not for the Wii, sorry. If anything, Pikmin 2 (with the motion controls) will finally get localized in America. Pikmin 3 is more than likely going to be for project Cafe. After all, Miyamoto did say that he believed Pikmin would benifit greatly from HD? I dont remember when he said that, but Im pretty sure he did say that.
No chance in hell. Nintendo's got enough on its plate with 3DS and Cafe and are going to be too busy getting the big franchises ready for those platforms.
I think it will be announced for the new console, Miyamoto said either at E3 2008 or 2009, when people were asking about Nintendo going HD; he mentioned how Pikmin is a franchise that would benefit from being in HD. Its definitely not coming to the Wii though, I think at best, next year they would release NPC Pikimin 2. This situation with Pikmin is actually pretty similar to Metroid post Super Metroid; missed the entire N64 lifespan and finally made it out on the cube.
I give it a 10% chance appearing on the Wii, and I give it a 51% chance appearing on the 3DS. But those are just hunches, based on nothing but feeling.
I would also love for this game to be announced! It's hard to completely predict what E3 will bring, so there is some hope. But I really don't think it will be announced. Just going with a gut feeling.
Maybe....but I think it will not be annouced this year. Maybe next E3 but not this one. For I beleive this will be a cafe title. Imagine Pikmin in HD...I think it will look amazing.
Likely yes, but you can't say for certain when it comes to Nintendo's E3 press conference. I would be a little surprised if it's not announced, but if it is, then it could be great for those that have have been waiting for it for so long. As far as what platform it'll be on, that's another thing I won't say for certain. We'll just have to wait for tomorrow, but hopefully it will happen.
