Playing games online

Ok so I am a bored college kid who recently got his wii hooked up to the internet so I could play some sweet online games. But......everytime I try to play SSBB no matches come up for playing with anyone. Is that just because nobody plays? Or it is too busy? Or people just play with friends? Also if the case is that people only play with friends, does anyone know of a website where you can talk to people in your area to play online games like SSBB and mariokart? Thanks guys for the help!

Nearly all Nintendo online games are like that. Nintendo also prevents you from communicating with anyone. It's a flawed system. They need a lobby system for their games. It would make things a lot easier. the_winner1234

Actually brawls pretty much the only one with connection issues.

Mario Kart is amazing online if you're not playing that yet. connection issues are virtually non-existant and it rarely takes all that long to get into a race.

and despite it's occasional connection issues, i would recommend downloading Bomberman Blast from WiiWare. i've been on there a lot lately and for $10, you can't really go wrong.

i usualy can get opponents but someone usualy ruins it by lagging

thanks that is a good website. I like to play but just don't have any friends to play with so it is hard to find random people. Also what other games are good for multiplayer online for wii? thanksjcolin22

ea has a nice online structure. better than what ninty is offering. mohh2 is good, madden09 (so i hear), but tiger woods 09 is AMAZING. i dont watch golf at all but this game is crazy fun and has the BEST online interactions. you can even use your created player on the green...if your that good ofcourse!
