Playing pokemon gameboy games?

Did anyone buy the old gameboy games like ruby and leafgreen and played them on their ds? Is it still fun?

ive had fire red and i restarted it to get some of the pokemon i dont have on thm . and i plan on geting emeald for groudon and raquaza and errr

If so, yeah. I play Minish Cap, and Emerald sometimes. Still good.

They are still great games. I've played Sapphire and FireRed for hundreds of hours. Not to mention the three thousand+ hours I spent on Silver, Gold, and Crystal and will most likely spend the same on SoulSilver and HeartGold.
