please help me choose between these two games...

Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors ... or Nights: Journey of Dreams...

I'm intrigued about "sword and shield" gameplay in DQ..it looks really fun and addicting... but does is work decently? does it register my slashes and are the slashes accurate?

I really like Nights because the adventure looks fun, but the Chao Garden style thing looks awesome! I like how the Wii Weather Channel was incorporated into it...but is it any fun? or as fun as the Chao Garden?

so basically the breaking point between these two games is for DQ, if the sword mechanics are good, and for Nights, is the "My Dream" fun... thank you!

oh and can I also get your opinion on which of these two games are better, also? Boom Blox or Blast Works?

and please don't tell me "GOOGLE IS YOUR FRIEND!". I looked everything up, but I'm having a little trouble deciding.

I haven't played any of those games. I hear Blast Works and Bloom Box are very good. I would suggest maybe renting the games if you can. Or maybe someone will post back commenting on the games.HyruleanLink

that's true..but from what I've seen if I had to pick one it would be Blast Works anyway...with all the customization and the exclusive website with downloadable content, it could keep me busy for a while!

But anyways....um...this is based purely off of opinion since I have never played either game, but I would go with NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams. This is because the game is $30.00 or less now, and I remember the first NiGHTS game was pretty good. This one didn't get as good of remarks, but it is still NiGHTS so it might be decent.

I never played the one for Dreamcast but if it is good than the sequal should be good also . I just wonder how "My Dream" is
