My TV: Samsung LE23R71B (HD LCD tv)
The Wii is going through at 480p and is widescreen on the official component cables. I have a PAL Wii, just so ya know.

Donkey Kong Country refuses to work. I just get a 'Mode Not Supported' message on screen. Super Mario 64 works just fine.

What the heck?

The GameSpot reviewers stated that Donkey Kong Country does not look too great on HD sets. I saw for myself and same results.
