Is it possible? Or will it go kaboom?
I have a wire. Came with my portable cd player. Basically it is supposed to be plugged from "line out" to "rc in". But can I plug it from the headphone jack to the amplifier? Or will there be massive damage?

yo i dont know if you should do that. in the summer i rigged up this backpack with speakers in it so i could listen to music outloud on the go. but i decided to plug my gameboy color in it just to test it out and there was a pop and then the gameboy didnt work any more. dont know what happend but i didnt plug my mp3 player into it cause i didnt know if it would break. but my buddy plugged his ipod into a amp and it works fine. i must of screwed somthing up._christoph
But the Gameboy Colour is old and sketchy. This is the DS, which i assume is difrent.
I want to do this because I own Hiite Utaeru DS Guitar M-06. The guitar game. :P
But I'm not sure if I want to try it.

i doubt there will be any damage. and if your still under warranty just phone nintendo and get it replaced. i dont believe any where in the warranty info it says dont plug your ds into an amplifier. but they could get you with you not using a first party accessory but a third party. any way i doubt it will do damage and if it does im sure nintendo would replace it just dont tell them you plugged it into your amp.
