Ah I miss pokemon. I'm still skeptical of all these new ones with new names but oh well, the more the merrier. I think I chose the grass for before (in pokemon blue), but, I don't know, penguins just rock :D
I usually choose Grass, then usually Fire if I play through a second time. I almost never use Water... This time, its hard to decide. I want Piplup, because it looks cool and Empoleon is pretty cool too. Chimchar is a rip of every other fire starter basically (Charmanders 'Char' prefix and tail on fire, Cyndaquils Flame Wheel, Torchics Final Evo type) but Infernape is pure awesomeness. Turtwig, while not as cool IMO, is still great. Torterras type is also good and looks cool. And why mess with tradition?
On a seperate thread, I said Piplup. Im changing that to Turtwig. But its a toss up.

I think i might pick Piplup cause the evolutions are awesome (PIPLUP) Meh not so fond of monekeys plus evolutions suck but then again i always pick fire pokemon (CHIMCHAR) NO because grass pokemon suck in the elite four cause Ice kills them as well as water and fire! (TURTWIG)

Why pick only one? I am going to be getting all three starters right off the bat. I'm getting both D & P so i will just trade between them both so i have all three starters. And i have two DS lites so this is possible.
i havnt seen them yet since i dont like the ruin the surprise. But i could use a grass pokemon in my starting six. But i never have really gone with grass before ill probibly just see what one is looking the coolest and go with that.
I'm going with Turtwig. ALl of the starter look insanely stupid this time around, but Turtwig look the least stupid. Plus IMO, he has te coolest fully evolved form.
Well, I was going to start with a water type. I went by an order. In the first generation I started with Squirtle(back then I didn't know that water types were weak against grass type, so I thought there really was no disadvantage to getting Squirtle). In the second generation I started with Cyndaquil, I thought his fire spine made him look cool. THen in the third generation I went with Treecko. It looked the coolest and I had never started with a grass type, so I went with it. I was going to start the cycle all over, but Pilpup just look too lame... SO I'm going with Tutwig.
I thought they water and grass ones looked cool, the monkey looks like a retard but the penguin's last form is SOOOO STUPID! I HAVE to go with the turtle thing!
