Here's my theory. Black and White take place on a seperate continent (North America) than the previous games (Japan). These Pokémon evolved seperately from each other. (But shouldn't that mean they should share a common pre-evolution?)

I'm pretty sure Isshu is based on a region in Japan. The Disco Bison doesn't really look like an evolution of Tauros, it's really more like an equivalent. As for Mamanbou, my theory is that they designed it as an evolution to Luvdisc before they decided not to feature any new evolutions this gen and decided to use it anyway.

As for Mamanbou, my theory is that they designed it as an evolution to Luvdisc before they decided not to feature any new evolutions this gen and decided to use it anyway.

Yeah I was pissed when I heard there was no evo's from previous pokemon games

so nintendo tries to be inventive with a new pokemon game, and everyone starts nerd raaaaging about it. Let's just see how good the actual GAME is when it comes out.

They don't evolve into each other? I think it is because they wanted all new pokemon.
