There's no question they will continue. There's been talk about revolutionizing the series, at least hinted in an interview.
How can there be an opposite of Arceus? It seems impossible for anything to top Arceus, so I hope Nintendo doesn't try. Just newly introduced legendaries.
Yup, basically i find it hard that they will stop. However, with so many animals and stuff used to develop the previous ones, i wonder where they can get more ideas to develop new pkmn?
It was funny you mention this because there was a thread in NeoSeeker I believe, where someone was complaining ho Nintendo should've just kept the 150 original Pokemon. I kinda got to think about that and I realized how I am now able to appreciate Pokemon more with its diverse pool of creatures and its different combination that if it just were the original 150 Pokemon. So long story short, I like having many Pokemon. Makes the game even more interesting :D. Edit: And they still have yet to create a Panda Pokemon. What's up with that? We need one ASAP.

They will continue, but my friends (Who are currently playing Gold/Silver) made me realize how much better the originals were.
I probably would play the 5th generation, but it won't be as good as the others.

I always find out these stories about the originals a bit... biased? (cant find a word for it). I mean, look at Jynx, lol. Mr. Mime = a clown? =P Raticate... ugly. To the ones that complain about Lucario, Hitmotchan wear clothes and gloves. lol. The original games are better for some people, so i guess it just natural they find the originals ones better and let the ugly originals pass without complain. All the gens are the same, have ugly and cool, however some have more ugly pokemon than others (3rd gen...)
