doesnt he evolve at lvl 20? that shouldnt take all day... just Exp share at the elite four, thats how I got all my pokemon up to at least level 40.
rare candys are very good!they can give a lvl. up for ur pokemon.but it stinks because u only find them on ground level.....and u cant buy them.......but u can trade them by giving a stinky pokemon(ratata lvl. 2)and trade them with ur friend!

no, rare candies suck, they're only good if your trying to evolve a pokemon.
You can give it to the nursery place near the unown. ugh I wish I could remember the name of the town its been so long since I finished the game! I think itsSolaceon Ruins something along those lines! Sorry I'm not of much more use!
