Basically i've never really had time to play any Pokemon titles since Blue/Red, but would it be worth buying Pokemon Emerald now for the full price or wait until the release of Pearl/Diamond? ...is it worth the experience of playing Emerald? Thanks in advance.
Go for diamond or pearl because I had emerald and it just didn't keep my attention.

What makes Emerald not worthy of a purchase because frankly you can't speculate how great Diamond / Pearl is without having to actually play it and judging it from images. I just want to know a few Pros & Cons.
yeah i played the 1st and 2nd pokemon "generations" as i like to call em (red & blue, gold & slilver) but the 3rd wasnt special. unless u wana get a "head start" with the whole tradeing ur high level pokemon from emerald pal park thing ud wana buy emerald in the meen time (which i did) but if u dont care about that the wait for pearl and diamond.
I would just wait until Pearl and Diamond comes out and look at the reviews and see which one you might like better. Personally, I think you should just wait and get Pearl or Diamond. I have pre-ordered Pearl already.
You definitally dont need too. It is a good game but id say its the weakest of the three pokemon generations. the only reason would be to train some guys for pearl and diamond.
Emerald's alright but with D/P just a month away, I would wait unless you have some extra cash. Emerald is rather long though for a Pokemon game and is surpringly deep.
