-This might get controversial,in fact please argue- Pokemon is the best series ever. Its good for entertainment,good story,fun battles and (you might not agree) for hacking -N00B WARNING- Im not a n00b don't call me one i will report you if you do.... XD JK
hmm... this may be a little off topic but where are peoples comments i was sure a lot of people were gonna be in this right now. pokemon is a good franchise and i bet that they'll be making another ed. right now. I grew up with pokemon and so i've played most of the franchise, right now it's getting boring for me and the thrill of catching ALL of the pokemon has worn of but kids right now would definately buy the game. Pokemon isn't the best ds game but it's franchise is gonna take a while to start dwindling.
Pokemon is certainly a c_lassic game that is to be respected to the tremendous contribution that it's made to handheld gaming over the years. However, and this is a big however, in the last few years, in my opinion, it has rather stagnated and grown lazy. We haven't really seen any great innovation for several years and the series is in danger of becoming entirely stale and repetitive. We can only play the same game so many times before it becomes massively boring.I so want to be able to pick up a new pokemon game and be literally wowed and amazed (I mean like, 'oh my god, that is so cool') by deep and immersive new features. Oh, and please, try and make the next pokemon game much, much harder and actually challenging for a change. Gym leader battles should be epic duels where you win by the skin of your teeth after being pushed to the absolute max, where strategy and cunning wins the day, not just a high level pokemon. I know you can battle people online now but I'm not into that, I play pokemon for the single player story and to catch em all.
