i really, REALLY disliked shadow pokemon. if they ever make a pokemon "adventure" on the wii, lets hope it works just like the DS ones, but with a vastly improved online mode (or else there's no point in making them on the wii)BrunoBRSonline free roam would make pokemon so much better

Well, PokePark Wii: Pikachu's Great Adventure is already out in Japan. I really hope it comes out here in North America this year.
Here's a link with some info about it, http://www.serebii.net/pokepark/
And here's a link with a bunch of screen shots, http://www.serebii.net/pokepark/pics.shtml
It's not like Pokemon Colliseum or Gale of Darkness though, or even like Battle Revolution. It looks and sounds like a lot of fun. As far as console based Pokemon games go, this is the newest one.

i saw this looks fun, but not what i was lookinfg for:(I hope we willI would love for a Pokemon RPG on the Wii rather than a stadium game but I don't think we'll get either any time soon.

I seriously hope otherwise. I'd rather have Shadow Pokemon,if given the option.

waiwaiwaiwait WHAAAAAAAAAAT!?!?!? shadow pokemon are really annoying to train, and you usually only have one chance to get them. i forced my way through colosseum just to get the 3 dogs on pokemon pearl. and i'm not coming back. i went to Mt.100 on story mode thinking i'd manage to get ho-oh (i could swear i read somewhere that's how you get it), and i obviously didn't, since after reaching the top, i just beat the master and go all the way down. walking.[QUOTE="VGobbsesser"][QUOTE="BrunoBRS"]i really, REALLY disliked shadow pokemon. if they ever make a pokemon "adventure" on the wii, lets hope it works just like the DS ones, but with a vastly improved online mode (or else there's no point in making them on the wii)BrunoBRS

While Pokemon Colosseum wasn't the best game out there,I did enjoy it. I enjoyed it much, much more than Pokemon Diamond, that's for sure.
EDIT: And for the record, there are no one-time-only Pokemon in Colosseum. If you miss a Pokemon once, you can find it later in the game.

if they want refreshing, at least come up with a good refreshing, like throwing away the 8 badges -> league -> battle tower -> real people formula and how could you not like DPP? i spent over 200 hours on it, and i only played it on single player O_oif they want refreshing, at least come up with a good refreshing, like throwing away the 8 badges -> league -> battle tower -> real people formula and how could you not like DPP? i spent over 200 hours on it, and i only played it on single player O_oBrunoBRS
Pokemon Colesseum was good refreshing,as far as I'm concerned.
And I didn't like the recent generation because it was a bland, lackluster-designed, spoiled version of the same game Game Freak has been releasing for more than ten years.
They should bring a pokemonrpg to the wii. Although I'd rather not see Shadow pokemon again. I'd like to see a deeper story involving the legendary pokemon somehow, with anime style graphics and better fight animations. Like, why does Aggron swing his arm for iron tail? It's kind of annoying how nearly all the attacks look the same.
*points at the pokepark game* they already thought of that. minigame mode of pokemon stadium, on a separate CD. kinda like buying portal instead of the whole orange box... but getting a worse game.Nintendo needs to release a Pokemon themed party game, like WiiSports or something. I think that would be a really terrific idea!

if by "refreshing and interesting" you mean tedious then sure..again I'll never understand your excessive hatred for the current gen games.
A new stadium would be great but so would an RPG more like the DS games. Actually the RPG sounds better.

Their simply not going to monkey with the Pokemon franchise, because its the software they use to control the handheld market.
as long as its better than pokemon Emerald... god there are like 60 pokemon in that game. I feel scammed and I got it for FREE from a friend!garrett_duffman
Um, there's 134 Pokemon in Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald. The Hoenn Pokedex lists Pokemon from 252 to 386. And every generation of Pokemon games on handheld systems has at least 100 new Pokemon, not less.
If you think there's only 60 Pokemon you either haven't even played it, barely played it at all or you're just assuming there's only that many.
And Pokemon Emerald is superior to both Ruby and Sapphire because it ties the story together all in one game, you get to battle Team Magma and Team Aqua. You get to catch Groudon, Kyogre and Rayquaza and well as all the Regis plus either Latias or Latios. Plus it has the Battle Frontier as well as other stuff to do after completing the game and beating the Elite four.

the wii is a whole different breed than console gaming, just like the gc was. If a pokemon game is going to be on the wii, it should get a fresh start, with its own gameplay and everything. Pokemon was good to play while on the move or just when you dont want loading times. you could play anywhere and for as little as minutes at a time. On the consoles, everything loads slower, you cant save anywhere, and turn based games in the way of pokemon just doesnt seem as fun, you know, where you just choose one attack and wait it out. either make it more complex or make it into a spinoff game that is actually worth 50 dollars. btw, i felt colloseum was very dull... it was pokemon, except it took away so many of the things that made pokemon pokemon while not replacing it with anything new or exciting.

of course I was exaggerating, but it feels like there are less catchable pokemon per available pokemon. Like In GSCit felt like there were tons of pokemon.Well, PokePark Wii: Pikachu's Great Adventure is already out in Japan. I really hope it comes out here in North America this year.
