First, let me state that I am NOT a Pokemon fan, but I used to be.
But I am posting this thread, because I think that an online Pokemon game for the Revolution could be one of the best selling games on the console. Because imagine, travel from like 5 different islands, and catch Pokemon from each. As well as that, you can see trainers all over that place, and you can battle them as well in 3D, and gain experience and have your createures level up. Battle gym leaders, kill Team Rocket, etc, and do many other things. The greatest Pokemon Idea I think is destined for the Nintendo Revolution.
I again state that I am not a Pokemon fan, but I think this game would sell very HOT! It would be a good strategy for Nintendo, and have it developed by Game Freak, as opposed to that stupid company who made Pokemon Colosseum.

I think the game would be great if they could figure out how to control the pokemon in real time. Nobody is going to play a turn based MMO online game.

I agree that game would fly off the shelves like it had wings I dont know why your so avid about saying that your not a pokemon fan its not really relevant info but whatever the point is your right about it being a good move for nintendo it would be a hugely popular game it would go well as a launch title for the Rev.

I quit playing Pokemon when I was 10 and I am currently 14. I bought every game they had because that is the most fun game out there. I only quit playing because it got old and I got tired of beating it 15 times. I wouldn't go out and pay $40 to buy it and $15 a month or anything but I would pay to buy it. If it was a free game then it most likely wound't be good. If they ever do make a Pokemon Online it would be like Nintendo Wii...never find it =P

god dammit their is alreadry a pokemon mmo. cant you people use the search on google? pokemon crater. its harder if you smoke pot first cause then its in real time otherwise its turn based.
I would be down for that. But like someone above me said it would have to done right. Like for instance its still aPokemon agme and not all about battling. So there should be an option to say no to a opponent battle (not a wild pokemon). But if you want to battle theres will be a battle island where no on can say no. You should also watch other people battle in a spectator mode
this sht would be so cool. honestly ive been waiting for this moment since i was 10 years old. im 16 now and would still buy this game. nintendo has no idea how much money they could make.
a pokemon game geared to ages 16-25+ would sell well... little kids would buy it because they like pokemon, we would like it cause its geared to us. well im not forming my words to say what im thinking...
If you took the best bits from all the games and used at least 90% of the original concept you would get a good game and if you used similar graphics to gale of darkness, i would be well happy. but i would say this though if you were able to transfer pokemon from the DS versions into it, that would not be fair.
Besides considering some of these games are the biggist selling handheld console games of all time nintendo would be mad not to do it, the only way i could se it happen though would be if they gave a lot of increased storage on the wii, or let games utalise the sd slot.

I used to be a pokemon fan, and remember coming across one. Yes, yes, youve herd me correctly, it was called pokemon crater and it was CRAP but the whole idea of being able to fight ALL the gym leaders, and ALL the elite four was pretty cool. So i played it, unfortenatly, it wasnt made,or even licsend by nintendo. So it was shut down.
