No it's false. There are exclusive pokemon in Diamond but the same amount as exclusive pokemon Pearl.

i have diamond and i can't get into it like i could (and still can) with rby and gsc. the gba pokemons were the same for me. the world just doesn't feel as massive.

get pearl, every one gets diamond, At all my local stores they are always loaded with like 4-5 square spots in the display case of pokemon diamond and pearl always only has one square (You know what I mean, in a display case they sit them in a thing so there are like 10 copies front to back, sry if I confuse you, its hard to explain cause its very simple, you should know what im talking about).
I have never played a pokemon game before, and this past sunday I decided to see what all the buzz was about so I picked up Diamond. I can definitely see the appeal these games have. I've already played about 10 hours and I am really digging it.
If you want the one which the least amount of people had then get pearl. I have diamond. I usually like getting the one the least amount of people get but i liked the pokemon in diamond better. For the record i do like the palkia(the pearl one right?) more than dialga but diamond had the pokemon i preffered.
