pokemon platinum elite four

how can i get pokemon that will guarantee that i beat the elite four? is the elite four near the end of the game? pokemon i have are: luxray lv 40, bibarel lv 43, giratina lv 48, crobat lv 48, empoleon lv 50 and moltres lv 64

Just buy a bunch of revives and hyper potions and take them on. They can't do anything to you if you have enough healing items, really.

I beat the elite four only using a Infernape, a staraptor, both at lv 5X, death fodder and enough revives/potions in my first playthrough. It isn't that hard.

Your team will get wiped by Cynthia's Garchomp. I'd recommend getting empoleon up to around late 50s and teaching it ice beam or blizzard or something like that.

Your Moltres looks like it's the most potent thing on your team, so keep that alive and sacrifice other monster to revive it.

Raise the rest of your team to around 50 and you should be set :)

I'm at this stage of the game, too. The Elite Four are easy enough. Make sure you save right after you've beaten Lucian, though, because once you enter the next room to fight Cynthia, you won't be given the chance to save. I've tried the league once so far, and Cynthia had me beat. Other than potions and revives you'll want to bring ethers, because powerpoints aren't restored at any point.

No, it won't. Empoleon just need to spam ice beams, and use luxray as death fodder, IF he's killed. From what i can remember, it has Dragon Rush, Earthquake, Flamethrower, Giga Impact. Only Earthquake from these can kill you and even then, not after 2~3 intimidates from luxray.

Bring a bunch of x attack / x defense etc. and you'll be fine.
