pokemon trading between Fire Red and Diamond

Okay, so this is my situation:

I have pokemon diamond, and I have the national dex.

I want to restart and play through with a new party of pokemon that I wrote up.

I want to be able to get all these pokemon at the very start or near the very start of the my restarted game, and preferably at low levels, such as lv.5 like the starter pokemon.

Here is the list:

Torterra - start with obviously, not a problem

Aron

Nidoran - male

Dratini

Charmander

Larvitar

I have friend with a GBA-SP playing fire red, another friend with DS playing sapphire, and I have a third GBA-SP at my disposal

Can I migrate pokemon from those versions before i get the national dex?

Can Sapphire trade pokemon wirelessly with diamond?

There are a ton of questions that are just rattling my brain to figuire this out

I want to know what I have to do to get all these pokemon, please help.

You can only import from GBA games, you cannot trade with them

You cannot trade from GBA versions to DS.

You can only migreate from GBA versions to DS versions, by having a cartridge inserted into the GBA slot while you're playing.

And you need to have beaten the game to access the pal park, which grants you the ability to migrate.

So in resume, you can only migrate after you beat the elite 4.

migrate the pokemon you want and give it to a friend restart then get those pokemon back.

but if i can only migrate after i have beaten the elite 4, then restarting would not allow me to retrieve the pokemon back, even if i traded to a lets say someone with diamond.

am i right?

Aron: You can find him after you beat the game in Diamond with the Pokeradar in the Fuego Ironworks. If you need him sooner, you need a copy of Sa/Em/Ruby to do so.

Dratini: Behind the waterfall in Mt. Coronet, use the super rod. If you need one sooner, migrate from FR/LG.

Larvitar: You can find him in the Seavault canyon in FR/LG. If you want him after you beat the game, Pokeradar route 207.

Nidoran M: Migrate from FR/LG or Pokeradar route 201.

Charmander: Migrate from FR/LG.

I bred all 6 starters of my team on my second run through with the movesets and natures I wanted them to have. You actually picked 3 that I did lol. Nidoran, Charmander, and Larvitar are great, just know your weaknesses with them.

so to reaffirm what your saying, i can trade any pokemon even from old generations, as long as i trade with another diamond or pearl?

If you take a Pokemon from a 3rd Gen GBA Pokemon game and transfer it to D/P/Pt, there it stays. You can't trade a DS Pokemon to a GBA incarnation.

After you have the GBA Pokemon in question in your DS game, you can trade with other people if they are using a DS and D/P/Pt.

OK, let's break it down easy like

You have Squirtle in Fire Red

You can only IMPORT them into Platinum/Diamond/Pearl

Once you import Squirtle into one of the games above you can trade them between any of the three games above.
