It's a simple question. Are you getting Wii Sports Resort?
I know I am, Motion Plus, 12 minigames AND nice looking graphics for only $50, count me in!

As Marv Albert would say, "Yes!" I just don't know when I'll have the chance to pick it up, though. I don't have the money at the moment, and buying games like Rhythm Heaven for the DS are also part of the goal at the moment.
everyone makes fun of minigame compilations...but when its from nintendo everyone rushes out to buy it(not to say im not getting it)...anyone else find this humorous?starwarsjunky
No, because the reasons people pick one over the other are blatantly obvious :-/

mini games that are all sports activities is different the random silly stuff. plus Nintendo tends to do a good job showing off it's tech. the last write up I saw on IGN was hit and miss as to which activities are cool with wm+. I was looking forward to wakeboarding but now I'm on the fence with it.yes I am finishing the last challenges in Punch Out!! so I need something to hold me off til MPTrilogy
Definitely. While there are some great Wii games, none have given me that same sense of amazement as Wii Sports did.
[QUOTE="BrunoBRS"]the question should be: "who the hell isnt getting wii sports resort?!" :Pscar-hawkThat would be me. I might change my mind but I'm probably not getting it. me as well. I actually hate everything about the game.
This is a pretty good topic. To get, or not to get Wii Sports Resort.
One one hand, why would I want to buy the sequel to one of thelamest games in existance, and pay full retail price for it yet? And on the other hand, will this outing live up to the expectations I had of what the Wii could do when I first bought it, and actually be fun for me?
No matter what, this is what it is - a collection of short game demos meant to introduce players to a new piece of hardware. It doesn't have good graphics and doesn't try to, it doesn't have multiple gameplay modes and options like most modern games (and evena lot ofolder games) do. It will have wi-fi access, I hear? I think they even mentioned leaderboards? So, who knows, maybe there will be a little more to this game than Wii Sports, Wii Play and Wii Music, the big bad three.
If I play the game and actually like it, that will surely be something- I will finally get to experience the kind of gaming I thought I was going to experience two years ago. Even if the wii motion controls are a letdown, it would really truly mean something if the game were actually good and fun to play.
So to answer your question, I'm not sure if I will buy this game or not. There aren't even really any games I know of that I would be interested in and use the wii motion plus yet.
