POLL: GameSpot EXP - Splatoon

Splatoon is arguably one of the best games to come out on the Wii U this year. With it's unique movement mechanics, and colorful atmosphere, its no wonder why Splatoon is so great. But what did you think of it?

My personal favourite game on the Wii U, and my current GOTY this year. So yeah, I think it's awesome.

it was a fresh shooting game but still, not enough to keep me interested for a long time.

Splatoon is the first game in a 20 year franchise, or as long as Nintendo makes games, whichever is sooner.

So good, Inklings were immediately guaranteed a future spot in a Smash Bros roster as soon as the game launched.

Your children will wear Splatoon backpacks.

It's great. It's not as feature packed as other shooters but being unique and fresh makes you oversee that.

where's horrible? No debate?... seriously? If you fall into a losing streak all the real flaws really show. Sadly, the fact lhat you locked down your weapons and for the most part the extreme differences of weapons. Also, might offend someone but right now, the simple mistake of allowing a level 1 against overwhelmingly higher level group. that can work but... most see it as an easy fix. Unfortunately, it's really is bad part you aware of how bad losses are but you would have been wise right off to a loss streak cushion. In game money, losses can a tramatizing experience. sadly, there really is no guarantee on what might bee going in the players life. Oddly, for most part graphics, concept and mix of seemly humor. someone most likely will want a sequel. "you really should feel blessed on a great many levels." honestly, online games do allow patches or the even more awsome direct act of compassion. also, motion controls worked very well. there is disadvantage to not using motion controls. I can be a large one based, on luck. yeah, i took the time, tryed not to hurt, it never really helps. I move on.

Its gets boring, I have to concede...

I just found out Splatoon has set Japan on fire, its the first time a shooter has ever been this big and first time a kid shooter has ever been so big in America.

I only played the demo. Couldn't stand it.

I love it. Need to go play some soon after I'm done Far Cry 4.

Its awesome! Splatoon is very addictive. New gamers beware how late you play if you have school or work the next day. Nintendo keeps on giving with this game with free new maps and items periodically. The Splatfests and polls bring the community together for light-hearted competition and amusement. Nintendo's competitors will likely copy it in some form in time because good ideas get copied.

Its awesome. One of the best shooters I've played in years, and a shining beacon of what can be done with the Wii U gamepad. Gyroscopic aiming should be the future of console aiming in shooters. It could easily compare to KB/M controls.

Splatoon is quite additive. The motion controls actually work quite well. My only issue is that there is no voice chat to communicate with other players.

And I have fun playing it.

But it sucks when you get a team you have no clue what they are doing.

My favorite Wii U game, and the best game of the year so far.

I always wanted voice chat, but now I don't know if I want it anymore. Hear me out:

The inklings, Inkopolis, the music and culture are all their own. The music and the voices all sound like they've been put through a filter and effects that make them sound garbled and warped, as if the sound is traveling through water. To have all that ambiance in the game and then hear a man's deep voice coming from a small inkling girl would kind of ruin the illusion. A lot of this game's appeal is that whimsical nature.

IF somehow Nintendo could come up with a voice warp so that we all sound like inklings in voice chat, then heck yeah. If it can't be done like that, then I don't want voice chat for this game anymore.

It's Great but needs balancing on the Kraken super. Other than that, it's great
