That is a link to the Z Cam, an amazing peice of hardware that makes YOU the control for your game. For all teh details just click the link. Now on to my point, Regi has said that Nintendo is aware of the Z cam. Now the question is, what are they going to do about it? It seams very obvious that Nintendo plans to release new controllers for Wii throughout it's lifetime, so why not the Z cam? Of course, Nintendo could simply copy the Z cam, then improve it before releasing it on Wii. I don't really care, as long as Nintendo uses this technology. You see, if they don't get it, someone else certainly will, and then we will be in some major trouble, because the Wiimote is no match for this baby. What do you think?

Kind of cool but I don't think we will see this technolgy on the current wii; maybe for wii 2. That's how I invisioned the wiimote being. Instead of swinging the wiimote and then some canned animation takes place on screen (like in zelda) I expected it to mimic your movements more. I don't have a problem with how it is and it is still new technology so this z-cam might be the next step in the progression. Pretty cool though and I could see it being great for baseball games and games with swords.

It has one major flaw... no one can walk in front of you. As opposed to the Wiimote or the VR tracking idea which senses IR points to handle the tracking. But I do like it a lot. If it showed up on another console this gen though, enough games wouldn't make use of it to be worthwhile. Like the video said, Wii 2.0 or next gen, when it is standard in the original box, then we will see it take off. And I'll buy it then too.

Sorry for the double post... but how do you walk around? Sure it works great for boxing (if you stand in the same spot all the time) or navigating menus. But I would still expect some sort of analog stick to help you walk around...

Well i would imagine it would work together with the Wiimote/Wiimote and Nunchuck or something similar, not just the camera by itself. That's why i thought it would work well on Wii. And like i said, if they're adding things like the balence board, why not the Z Cam? Of course, mabye it will only come into play next gen, which will become the Z Cam era(horrible pun intended)

Yeah, it would really suck to walk around by pointing fingers... those with longer fingers or arms would be able to move faster... totally unfair.

I'm sure some people would like it, I just don't think I'd use it. I think Nintendo is confident in it's already awesome Wii design.

I like the idea but I don't see Nintendo making any really effective use for it > system or games.
