Popular sports games not on Wii? :( think of the possibilities

Anyone know why games like NCAA 08 football and MLB 2k7 are not on the Wii?

If you think about it, it would be friggin awesome to play MLB on the Wii, probably the best console for it as of yet!

I can just think of baseball on the wii.... like flick ur rist right for a cure...  awesome

hockey soccer and basketball would probably be too hard to port to the wii becaues it's not first person like in baseball where ur 1 person the whole time... i could kinda see soccer though...

Tiger Woods is set to come out on March 15th.

NCAA football will come in due time, since Madden sold so well.

It might be a little longer before we see basketball or hockey on Wii. This is primarily because Wii Sports serves as a template for the other games. There's no basketball or hockey in Wii Sports, so the developers will have to figure it out from the ground up.
