Anyone know why games like NCAA 08 football and MLB 2k7 are not on the Wii?
If you think about it, it would be friggin awesome to play MLB on the Wii, probably the best console for it as of yet!

hockey soccer and basketball would probably be too hard to port to the wii becaues it's not first person like in baseball where ur 1 person the whole time... i could kinda see soccer though...
Tiger Woods is set to come out on March 15th.Here's what I know: Madden '08 is definitely on the Wii. I saw Electronics Boutique taking pre-orders for it. EA said, in the interview here on GameSpot on Madden '07, that hockey is in the works. EA has brought out one or two VC titles as well (such as SimCity). And 2K dropped the ball. They may have said they're embracing the Wii back in June of last year, but they haven't followed through. No doubt they gambled and threw their support behind the PS3. There's not presently a single Wii title on their release schedule, and only one mention ever of one, for The Bigs in Q4. EA looks to me to be committed to the Wii. They'll benefit where 2K loses. (They're already doing so on the PC.) David V .
EA made mention of Fight Night for Wii.

And Take-Two made mention of MLB 2K for Wii.

NCAA football will come in due time, since Madden sold so well.
It might be a little longer before we see basketball or hockey on Wii. This is primarily because Wii Sports serves as a template for the other games. There's no basketball or hockey in Wii Sports, so the developers will have to figure it out from the ground up.
