honastly i dont see a problem with that. are people getting so lazy they dont want to waste 5 seconds to change a disk? i mean the controls seem like a perfect fit the game

lol just joking, but why get just portal when you can get the orange box? So far developers just exploit the wii's popularity. All five games would probably get released seperately, and cost 25 $ ea. Don't get me wrong, shooters are awesome on the wii.

No reason the Wii couldn't do it. And 2 discs??? Are you drunk?!? Correct me if I'm wrong...but the Wii uses a DVD media......same as 360 (which has the orange box). IT WILL FIT. And portal isn't too crazy on graphics. If they could port half life 2 to the regular Xbox, the Wii can handle it for sure.

well saddly some of us dont have the mony to get a 360. i aint rich:). i plan on getting a 360, and the orange boxonce i save enough money. but portal just seems like a natural fit for the wii. plus both the portal gun and the wiimote are both shiny white:lol:.

It certainly would easily fit on one disc.

Yeah, it would fit on one disc. Portal is a short game its only 2-3 hours long. And I guess the wii could handle it graphics wise... Maybe not, but you could dumb it down to Metroid Prime 3's graphics at the very least.

Just play it on PC, thats what it was designed for and controls best on, and it doesn't take too powerful of a PC to run, even at medium settings.

I still thinks it funny that Nintendo, who allegedly has such a great eye for innovation, had these students who came up with Narbacular Drop/Portal at the game school they fund, Digipen, and completely overlooked them.

If it works on my 5 year old computer (my graphics card is new, but still not top of the line) it will work on the Wii.

It's a great game, by the way, but I think it would have to be completely redone. A port wouldn't work with the different hardware the Wii has. But it could definately happen.

Pretty sure the "2 disc" comment was just a joke (you know...you use 2 portals in the game...yeah), so calm down everybody on that. Also, in a comment, Valve said that there are no plans for making a Wii Portal yet, so there may or may not be a port in the future. Personally, I wouldn't care that much since I have it on the PC, but if they included extra levels or placed it in a Wii version of The Orange Box like one user suggested I'd definitely buy it. After playing MOHH2, I believe the Wii is the best way to play an FPS.
