I got my Nintendo DSi XL in the mail today and am very pleased except for one issue... the top screen seems to be darker then the bottom screen. Is this normal? I don't have a game yet to try it out but it is distracting with the included games with the unit. Did I get a bum system, should I return it, or will this not be noticeable in game? I did some googling and found this is a common issue but usually with the bottom screen being the one people complain about. I dont know if that is normal or not, but yeah it looks slightly less bright. Or some sort or really really light tan colour. I would take it back just to be safe if you can.

Thank you. I took it back and was able to compare it to a new one out of the box. The original definitely had a tan tint to it. My new one still seems slightly less bright then the bottom screen but I think I may be overly picky. They are two different screens after all so the odds of them matching perfectly may be pretty slim.
The DSi XL I picked up today looks exactly like that. Has it been bothering you? Because I don't really want to return it and risk more serious defects. (and I hate returning things to Gamestop... they make you feel like a criminal)
