potential smash brothers roster

The roster should consist of Ike, Roy, Marth, Greil, the Black Knight/Zelgius, the laguz royalty. The raven king Naesala, the hawk king Tibarn, Nahliah. The lion king and dragon king are a must. To top it off Lynn from the fire emblem game for the game boy advance. Mario, Dr. Mario, Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Bowser, Toad, Bowser Jr. a must for the mario series. Yoshi and the baby mario brothers fromYoshi's island. Donkey Kong, Chunky Kong, Diddy Kong, and Dr. Krool from the classic Donkey Kong series. Link/Wolf Link, Toon Link, Zelda/Sheik, Ganondorf w/ the sword from the sages, Midna/Imp Midna, and Zant for the amusement. Those would be the candidates from the Legend of Zelda series. Keep Ness and Lucas, but improve their aerial recovery techniques. Captain Falcon and the like including his doppleganger, along with Samurai Goroh from the F-Zero series. Samus/Zero Suit, Dark Suit Samus, Weavel, Spire along with the other bounty hunters from the Metroid series. Olimar and his friend from Pikmin 2. Wario, Waluigi, Ashley, Kat and Anna from Wario Ware Inc. From the Pokemon series there should be Pichu, Pikachu, Raichu, The Pokemon trainer using baby Kyogre/mini Groudon/Deoxys attack form, Mewtwo, and Lucario. The fighters from the Kirby series would be Kirby, Metaknight, King Dedede, Knuckle Joe, and Nightmare. Retro characters like Pit, Ice climbers,Mr. Game and Watch, Little Mac, and R.O.B. The star fox squad and star wolf squad, however the fighters are the characters from both squads that are capable of fighting. The 3rd party would consist of Snake, Gray Fox, Sonic, Knuckles, Silver, and Shadow.

Couldn't agree more with that. The only character I really want in the next game is Mega Man. Which probably won't happen. But I would like it though.

Meh, all I would want is more third party, Master Chief, Raiden, someone from Gears of War... and maybe even a few Jedi like in SC.peterom11

That's just low I joined and just recently found out that the smash brothers roster was a hot topic. Besides my friends get in an arguement with me and it just grinds my gears.

Dr. Krool ( who? ), Chunky Kong, The Lion King, Silver, Gray Fox!!!!???

Urgh...

Dr. Krool stole Donkey Kongs Bananas in the game series. The Lion King is Kaneighis the king of Galia in Fire Emblem Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn. Chunky Kong was an ally that Donkey saved from Dr. Krool, in other words the guy that looks like a fat crocodile. Gray Fox was the rival of Snake from the Metal Gear Solid game series. Silver is a hedgehog that uses telekinetic abilities.

Dr. Krool- His name is King K. Rool, and yes, I want him playable badly.

Oh, and there's waaaaay too many Fire Emblem/Metroid characters. I know who all of those characters are, but a lot of them aren't deserving at all.

They all have a lot of power that contributed to stopping a corrupt godess or tyrant.

i would like to see the black knight, but the laguz kings are way too powerful to be put in. greil is kinda...dead.. I think marth and lyn would be too similar since they are both speed based characters. i'd hate to see even more cloned or pointless characters than they already have so that pretty much eliminates every other character thats in your list..... (except for those already in brawl, of course)

The roster is based off of characters that have done something that doesn't require a huge robotic suit or Psychic powers. I just threw in Silver because he is an improved version of Sonic. Zant is bad guy and let's face it there are not enough villains in the roster.snowball2011

Out of all of Zelda's villains, why add Zant. Ganondorf and Vaati suffice. Fans see Tingle as a villain in a sense, throw him in if you must, but Zant really isn't worthy. Did he even have special attacks? If I recall correctly, he was just a collection of snippits of boss battles from earlier in TP.

then you just use the handicap to the favor of the players not using the laguz kings. Greil could have been revived considering the fact that the Black Knight survived his battle to the death with Ike in Path of Radiance. Lynn is in there because she does not have the same skills as Marth. Eventhough they are speed based characters they still possess different skills.snowball2011

ok.. the black knight LET ike win, he was never killed. greil was killed and buried, and 5 years after that, king gallia visited greils grave and it was still there, so unless he's a zombie, he wont be in ssb.

why would they put in characters who would make it mandatory for others to use handicaps? if they were used as bosses, then that would be ok, but not as playable characters. (dragon king died too)

lyn and marth do NOT have different skills. in their respective games, their stats build very much the same way, favoring speed and skill over strength and defense. ssb created marth's attacks from scratch because they had only one attack in FE.. if they created an attack set for lyn, it would inevitably be similar to marth's

good roster, but 103 char to an dvd9 is too much, and there are really to much "similar char like pichu, pikachu and raichu and from the fire emblem series.

i like the roster, its damn good but try to reduce the numbers
