I am going to buy both Grand Slam Tennis and Tiger Woods '10 on the Wii, both releasing next week.

My quesiton is, will they send it so I receive it the day of the release, or will they not send it until the day it is released, thus adding time on to actually receiving it?

I'd like to have the game on release day, but it's not a huge deal if I have to wait. Just wondering what experience others have had.

not sure but amazon seems to be the way to go anymore. they usually have at least a little bit of a discount of of regular price. (they had punchout for $40 for awhile)

Yea, I guess if I do have to wait a few days, I'll at least still get close to 10% off.

Anyone else had experience with preordering games?

Pre-ordered a few games off Amazon. I got most of them on release day but one of them I got like a day after the game released in stores.

It depends what shipping option you use. For Punch Out, I chose the standard free shipping and I didn't get the game until a week after release.
