Cl4ssic controller and wiimote on its side, NES style.

I don't see why you would want to play that way, though, unless you want to play local co-op with someone who can't handle the pointer. IR controls are wonderful and the other control schemes are not even nearly as good.

Totally agree.

IMO, Classic controller or wiimote on the side do not allow the `good' PES control scheme that makes the Wii version innovative and as fun.

Essentially, with Wiimote + Nunchuck you control the full field - all players [run into space, one-two passes, etc] ... and gives a great tactical feel which is unlike prior soccer/futbol games.

I was wondering if there's a way to change your control method once you've started a Master League. I'm a good few seasons in, but I'm tiring a little of the point mode and fancy a bit more traditional Pro Evo. Is there a way of changing controls in Master League? As obviously I don't want to have to start again and lose my progress.

Wii Remote Sideways, Wiimote and Nunchuk, Gamecube controller and cl@ssic controller.

I'd recommend the Wiimote + Nunchuk, best method you can have for the game.
