Self explanatory, really. So I did what it told me to: I entered the serial/PIN on the back on my system into Club NIntendo's Database, linked my account with DSiware and it showed up on Club Nintendo TO DO list. However, they didn't give me a survey; instead they told me to enter the serial/PIN again and I did - it didn't do anything, didn't give me any coins and it said the serial was already in the database. I sent them an email about a week and a half ago about it and they still haven't responded...does anyone know how to fix this?

I don't remember exact details but you shouldn't get any coins for registering systems. You just get an extension on your warranty and in the case of the DSi, you get linked so that you can get surveys from your DSiWare downloads. As for getting a survey on the system itself, it might be delayed. The game post-play surveys usually take a week or two to show up.

On the page immediately after I log in, I have a box on the left side that says "Products Registered". Check there to see if your systems show up?

I logged in and it does say DSi under registered products, so it's in the database, no doubt. I also read the FAQ and it also stated that you DO get coins for registering the DSi system - 160 coins I believe.

You're right...I forgot about that. Maybe it was my Wii & DS Lites that didn't give coins. Maybe try sending them another email?

Are you sure it linked? Here are the instructions

Linking your Nintendo DSi Shop account to your Club Nintendo account for registration rewards

Club Nintendo members can register their Nintendo DSi system and link their Nintendo DSi Shop account to their Club Nintendo membership to earn Coins. Once linked, Nintendo DSi Shop downloads will automatically be registered in the Club Nintendo account. These downloads will also qualify for Post Play surveys that earn Coins which may be redeemed for Club Nintendo rewards.

Important note: Make sure your Club Nintendo user name and password are made of letters and numbers only. Do not use any special characters, such as "_" or "&". If you have a special character in your current user name or password, visit Club Nintendo and change it through "My Account Settings."

  1. Connect your Nintendo DSi to the internet.
  2. Visit the Nintendo DSi Shop on your Nintendo DSi.
  3. Select the "Start Shopping" button.
  4. Select the "Settings" button.
  5. Select the "Settings and Features" button.
  6. Select the "Club Nintendo Settings" button.
  7. Enter your Club Nintendo account information
  8. Now just wait 30 minutes for your coins to appear in your Club Nintendo account!

Yes, 100% sure it is linked. I checked again and even unlinked it, and relinked it to see if it would refresh. Also, it is a brand new DSi - I traded my old DS for a new one at an official Nintendo headquarters and got it it sealed and everything.

That's really odd... If you already had a DSi registered, it won't give you any coins for registering another. (though I doubt that is your problem)

Are you able to buy things from the DSiWare? That's a guarentee that you're connected.

EDIT: I think the problem is Club Nintendo. I just tryed to finish one of my post-play surveys but it's not registering that I finished it or giving me the points. Whe I click "Finish" it's just redirecting me to the same page I was on. =/

Ah, I emailed them again and they fixed it, giving me a survey to do! I think it's a problem with Club Nintendo's database, but if anyone else has this problem a quick email should do it.
