I think it's just a very popular game, it's def not out of print though. It is out of stock in a lot of places, just like the Wii Fit over here in the UK.
You should be able to get a copy over the internet on Ebay.
I just bought my copy 2 days ago at my local Walmart. Definately not out of print yet, just a very popular and a very good game that seems to be hard to find right now. Good Luck! I hope you find it because you will not be disappointed.
