Personally, Im gonna get it even thought there is not that many new stuff. I loved the gc version and never played the portable one. This is just me though. Thoughts? Opinions? Haters?

Pros: Great game with plenty to do. Smoother gameplay, good online, the City is a pretty good feature Cons: Not much has changed from the previous Animal Crossing games, potential capabilities of this game aren't realized or properly fleshed out

I agree, this game looks incredibly addicting, just not new or groundbreaking at all

It's quite fun, but it's disappointing to see so little done to improve it. Some little tweaks here and are nice, and the City is great, but they could have done so much more. I suppose it's because they wanted to try and appease the complained "core" gamers so they sort of rushed it for holiday release knowing that it would sell like crazy at that time, which it probably will.

Pros: It's probably the best game in the series. Cons: It's pretty mutch a port of the DS version, with some aspects of the Gamecube Version, A City which most gamers consider to be from "meh" to "terrible". If you've never played an Animal Crossing before and would like to you'll probably LOVE this game. Otherwise you might find this game stale.

Pros: wii speak??? i don't really like it, though...

Cons:  Every animal crossing game gets boring. At first you're like, "I'm gonna play it every day!".  Then the next week you're back to playing smash bros.

Pro: Dialogue is probably the funniest of any Animal Crossing I've played (which is all of them).

Con: Not enough dialogue.  I've had the game since Sunday, and one of my neighbors had already asked my opinion of stretchy sweatpants SEVEN TIMES by Wednesday.  The dialogue is good, but it repeats way too much.

Pros: more holidays/special events, bugs and fish look more realistic, the city, K.K. Slidder makes good music, Lyle doesnt rip you off anymore, villagers seem nicer then in other AC games, Phyllis is gone, you can talk to Pete, fishing and bug catching controls are awesome, the best AC game so far.

Cons: Redd, only 10 villagers, some characters like Blathers and Kapp'n dont shut up, the chore system is crappy compared to the GC one, similar to past AC games.
