Got the Black Wii bundle for Christmas, so I'm now a proud Wii360 owner. I just have a few questions that I hoped that someone could answer. I want to buy a couple of games off the Wiiware and Virtual console and I was wondering, do I need any sort of aditional storage for the games I buy, or are they stored on an internal HDD.

Thanks in advance for any help given.

They are stored on an internal drive. Or you can get an SD card to keep them on.

The Wii has it's own internal memory but honestly, if you plan on getting a bunch of Wiiware or Virtual console games, you are probably gonna need an SD card for more memory.

Good for you, BTW.

Its saved on the wii but in only contains half a gig of memory, if you really want to download a lot get a new memory card, and gamecube controller . Also congrats on the new wii!

The one with the new remote and Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort. It was a nice gift from my mom to me and my gf, and we were really surprised. The only problem now is having to get all the great games that i've missed :( At least I'm happy that I found Ogre Battle 64 on the virtual console, had to run an emulator version since used copies run about 100$ around here.

There's 512MB of Flash Memory, but if you want to download VC games, WiiWare games, new Channels, and have save files there, you'll run out of space somewhat quickly. You should get an SD card if you plan on downloading more. I have a 2GB one and still have plenty of space on it, and I've had my Wii since launch. You could always wait 'til you run out of space, though. DON'T get a GameCube memory card unless you plan on playing GameCube games on the Wii, as you can't save non-GameCube files to the GameCube memory card.

The Wii stores your saved games and downloaded content on flash memory.
