I played it and thought it was pretty fun, but i think its overrated. Probably just because im not long hard fans like the rest of you.

Punch Out is not the most intense fun I've ever had, but it's one of the games that you will keep comming back to when your other games get old. It has much more staying power than most games.
Yup i agree with everything you have stated, and it truly is one of the best wii games of this year IMO. Its everything id hoped it would be and more, its also good to finally see the series get the recognition it deserves after all these years.
When I was a lot younger, I remember watching my father and my older brothers play this game all the time. Its great that they kept all the stuff that made the game great and improved upon it. Also, does anyone else work up a sweat while playing this game?

LOL...I played the original game as a kid, now I work up a sweat playing Punch Out Wii with my kids.
I was actually considering making a thread like this, I just got Punch-Out!! about two weeks ago.. Amazing game, very fun, quirky humor, great artstyle, tight controls:D
