I just purchased a Wii for the times I have company over and would like to play with friends/family. Most of the time it will be myself, my sister and her husband playing. With that in mind I purchased an extra wii-mote and nunchuck and wii play which comes with a wii-mote.

In total I have 3 wii-motes, 2 nunchuks for 3 players (typically). What else, if anything should I be purchasing? :
ie.
-Is a 3rd nunchuk useful or is that somehow unuseable/unused by the games?
-Should I purchase a clas sic controller? Should I purchase two? Should I purchase a gamecube controller or something instead? What exactly do I need those controllers for? Can I not just use the wii-mote to play Mario Bros and games like that?
-I am likely going to buy Warioware but are there any other must-haves for multi-player gaming (especially for non-gamer types)? I bought this for others in mind, when I play solo I play on my PC.

Thanks in advance.

Naw you have the essentials... Right now warioware is probably the best party game out on the wii, although there are some others to look forward to soon. Classic contollers are intended for any game on the VC that isn't from the original nintendo, but yes you can play most of them on a GC controller but it's very unpleasent because the a and b buttons are switched. However if you ever want to pick up any GC games you might want to have a controller handy.
And I don't think you'll need more then one forbidden>

Okay well...i would say dont get another nunchuk...boxing is only 2 players...what other games do you have. Well buy a classic controller IF you are going to buy VC (virtual console) games. I am going to get warioware as well. AS for the gamecube controller buy...hmmm...if you are going to get SSBB then buy some Gamecube controllers (i think they are going to use gamecube controllers for that game. Correct me if im wrong people) b/c SSBB (super smash brothers Brawl) is a great multi-player game. I dont think Warioware even uses a nunchuk. So to summarize it all: i would not buy a classic controller. Purchase like 2 or 3 gamecube controller if you are going to get SSBB or if you are going to buy some multi-player Gamecube games (Mario Party).Oh yea and if anything you should purchase a charger for the Wii-motes that way you won't have to use a lot of batteries.

You should get a classic controller, if you plan on getting a lot of VC games. Game Cube controllers are alright, but for some games it is almost impossible to play well (case in point: Donkey Kong Country)

Would rechargeable batteries not work just as well as the chargers? Thanks for the advice so far guys. I will hold off on those other remotes then until I decide if I wanted to purchase any of those games. I haven't ever played a GC so I do have some interest in perhaps trying some of those but I don't want to buy a bunch more controllers at this point if I don't have to.

They'd work just as well, if not better. Personally I'd get rechargeable batteries instead of Wii-oriented charging stations/batteries. That way you can use the batteries in other things like digital cameras and such (things that are battery-suckers...). I use a set of rechargeable batteries that I've had for the past 3 or 4 years, and they still work great.
