For the handheld RPG fans on this board, what would be your top 3 DS RPG's? An RPGgame that was fun, challenging, high quality and with high production value.

The DS has more then enough JRPG, from FF to pokemon all ends of the genre are represented on the DS. But WRPG are rare on the DS, the GBA has some of them but if you want those then your going to have to get a console such as the 360 or the PS3.

well, i have to give these to you:

for DS: Mario & Luigi, and Zelda: PH, and i know you want for ds, but Golden Sun for GBA is amazing, if wantwhat you put down for rpg details, this game has it, plus, it will save you some bucks since its for the gba, and the graphics are pretty cool too.

Don't feel bad, I've never been able to figure out what an RPG is or isn't!

Is PuzzleQuest an RPG - it's role playing, it's a game (a really good game) but is it strategy, RPG?

What about Rune Factory? (Also a good game)

What about Harvest Moon?

WHAT THE HECK IS A ROLE PLAYING GAME TO YOU???!!!

Etrian Odyssey

Final Fantasy III

Front Mission

Pokemon Diamond/Pearl

^Those are my favorites. And FFXII: RW could be considered an RPG. It's battle system is more of a Real-Time Strategy(RTS) similar to how FFXII on PS2 played. I have notplayed it but I haveheard good things about it. I wouldsay any of these are good choices if you arelooking for good RPGs on the DS.

rpg this, rpg that, the ds hit me with a wiffle ball bat, reee ee eee e eee e, all the games mentioned are good, since they keep repeating themselves on each answer, so wether its rpg or not, they still have that "feel" to it.

Thanks chang. So to sum it up.

1. Your character plus companions
2. Ability to level up
3. End of the world if you fail.

So I would say Puzzle Quest IS an RPG. Rune Factory possibly and Harvest Moon, not.

But I highly recommend them all.
