Question about cheat code on GH3

I enter in the cheat for all songs, and all the songs are there. However, when I turn the game off, and go to play later the songs are missing and I have to enter the code again. Do I have to enter the code everytime until i can get a second guitar to actually unlock them???

Also do you have auto-saving turned on? Save the game manually then. Likely you aren't triggering the auto save feature.
